Chief Justice (Retd.) Abdul Karim Khan Kundi

Chief Justice (Retd.) Abdul Karim Khan Kundi

Senior Advocate

Ever since joining the West Pakistan Judicial Service in 1960, Justice (Retd.) Abdul Karim Khan Kundi has been actively involved in the field of law both at the bar and on the bench. Justice (Retd.) Kundi has held numerous judicial positions both in Punjab and the NWFP, giving him a rare command over a multitude of Pakistani laws and their application by the courts. Justice (R) A.K. Kundi has also served in the law and parliamentary affairs division/departments of both the Federal and NWFP Governments and has had first-hand experience of law-making by the legislature. On the bench, judge-made law i.e. handing down authoritative judicial precedents (case law) was a daily affair for Justice Kundi. He retired as the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court.

We are proud to have as our head one of the most eminent and respected legal minds in Pakistan. Justice (Retd.) Kundi brings to KUNDI & KUNDI wisdom and knowledge that can only be gained through the experience of decades of judicial and legal work.

After retiring as Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court in 1995 Justice (Retd.) Kundi and his son Afnan Karim Kundi founded the law offices of KUNDI & KUNDI. They envisioned a small family practice that would distinguish itself through the quality of its work. From these humble beginnings, KUNDI & KUNDI grew to be one of the leading law offices in the capital of Pakistan (Islamabad), serving some of the largest and most respected clients in the country.

Justice (R) A.K. Kundi presently looks after the litigation of KUNDI & KUNDI in the Supreme Court.
